Losing ALL your troops when losing an attack on a fief is too punishing
Currently you lose every single troop when you lose an attack on a village, in case of the TK attack some time ago they lost 200-300 in the battle but 600-700 due to this. There should be an appropriate penalty, to discourage "attacking" without really attacking (maybe 35-50 % of the surviving troops) but it is unrealistic and really punishing for attackers to lose so many.
unnecessary re-chambering of ammunition when harmed.
When you are hit when you have a crossbow and aiming/past the stage of placing ammunition in, you have to place a whole new piece of ammunition in. Like somehow the ammunition placed suddenly disappeared. If you were interrupted aiming, surely you would think you would be able to immediately go back to aiming. But you instead you have to place a new bolt in. Please change that, I don't believe that's intended.
Same issue with the bow. the arrow it already knocked and you suddenly have to draw a new one if you were interrupted instead of resuming aiming.
Just simple stuff like that.
Additional request/suggestion: Also perhaps allow crossbowman to move while aiming? That tends to drive people away from using it since your a sitting duck.
Spear stab bug
Spear stabs without a shield are for some reason blocked corectly with lower left diagonal and badly with a stab stance. It should be exactly opposite corectly with stab stance and badly with lower diagonal.
Create and updated road map
Since the epic is no longer happening, what are the goals for full release and in what order are features going to be added? What can we expect when this game is finished?
There are occasional new major features being planned, since the game is still in Early Access, so it makes it a bit inconvenient to release a final roadmap, as it could limit development quite a bit. We'll release a roadmap, of course, but can't give an ETA yet.
Smoother camera transitions when backed against the wall
When near a wall the camera shouldn't suddenly snap onto it but smoothly transition like being held back by a force field (shown in green).
It would do away with having to deal with camera flickering.
Pickup dropped weapons on the ground
If an enemy or ally dies, I should be able to grab their weapons maybe even their helmet.
items + customization
i would really love to see new special items added to the game and the ability to customize the armor color or other weapons. maybe the special items can be more expensive than the other normal ones. also make customization cost money so it would feel special.
Gestures often times don't work
Gestures often times fail to initiate or end abruptly mid animation.
Crop unnecessary mesh to avoid clipping
This would be a technical suggestion:
Currently player models still have problems with clipping: Mail will clip through surcoats, hair through helmets, fingers through gloves.
An easy way to avoid it would be to simply delete mesh that's not being shown anyway. If someone wears gloves remove the hands...
Bad Attacks
Bad attacks - swinging in thin air or missing an attack will give you an attack speed debuff ( just like the bad block one ) resulting you in losing your turn if you miss your attack.This will reduce overall attack spamming and random swinging in game and make ppl be more careful and know their weapon reach.
UI Overhaul
Allow to wear different layers for armor for example a mail coif and a helmet , the UI needs to be tweaked, it is a mess for new commers.
Agree that UI is not very intuitive right now. Will be changing that and tweaking functionality in the future.
Make camera distance adjustable while playing
Generally I like to play with a pretty far camera distance, but its absolute garbage in certain spots in the raid maps, especially castle. Obviously changing it from the options mid game is way too slow (not to mention the bug where you sometimes can't access options while in a server.)
First person view is definately not enough to solve this.
Oh and please make it so that it can be bound to mousewheel.
More amour!!!
everyone is looking the same currently. We need more amour types to mix things up. There is plenty of material to work with in this era. Let get more armor to chose from.
Stronger nudge for shield bashes
If you nudge someone with a shield it should do more than a weapon nudge
Catapults/Siege Equipement
So this is quite bizzare,might take maps more focused on walls and rebalance for the teams. but adding siege towers/catapults/tebuchets would be much more awsome and immersive.think about how it will change it up,pepole will have to storm a castle through the walls,taking casualties from arrows.
