Bot matches/bots in matches(please read)

Bots matches would be a great way for new players to experience large scale battles without having to worry about high tier players chasing them down in partial plate and also allows players to play the game when ever they please with as large of  a battle as they please, i often come home to find no battles on my server and other servers to be to lagy or to low populated to enjoy a good battle that is not me fighting the same player over and over again.I understand the counter argument to that is to join the large scale battles but not everyone can be on when those happen


Another benefit for these bot is that they could be used for balancing or making battles more populated, an example of this is the 3v2 and 1v2 i often find my self in(this may not be the case for everyone but if a new player encounters this it could ruin his experience) when these unbalanced matches happen its often a up hill battle for the lower populated team as the other will simply take turns killing them as they run in over and over to simply die to better players, adding a hand full of peasant bots adds a constant stream of enemies both teams have to focus on and can assist in over powering the more powerful players turning this 3v2/1v2 into a 8v7/6v7 providing a more pleasing experience for those involved


TL;DR

Pros

-player can fight bot populated battles anytime of day

-new players can play the game without worry of powerful players or empty battles

-players without internet or who hate pvp can enjoy a team based pve experience that is not just a   wave survival game(new market?)

-provide a way to balance matches in pvp without taking away all the fun

-bot matches can be used to practice fighting with a team 


Restrictions

- i feel bots should not be allowed in de militari as that is a pvp system and allowing players to spawn armies of bots equal to there reinforcements (while cool) would ruin the point of the game mode


Conclusion 

I understand players have been against the idea of having a form of single player in the game but do so ensure not matter what happens along the Dev cycle of this great game we can still enjoy its beautiful art and engaging combat and could attract new and old players back to this game with the promise that they can enjoy it no matter the population of the servers.

there are plenty of multiplayer pvp games out there that offer enjoyable bot matches that can still be enjoyed to day that did not take away from the multiplayer in anyway.(lol,dota,All the call of duties,quake,etc)

Arrows not tucked back in the quiver when trying to aim

It happens sometimes, that when you are aiming with a bow, at the moment when you want to shoot, the character gets "tired" and stops aiming. If you click left at that very moment, the arrow goes back in the quiver, forcing you to pull it out again.
I suggest a small change:
Arrow goes back in the quiver with left mouse button ONLY (not holding right mouse button)
It should not happen when you are holding right and click left (because that means you want to shoot).

Highlight your Duel oponent

When your in between a lot of players or bots, it would be cool to be able to distinguish your oponent from all the others.

Flag capture interrupted: Your character controls are inverted and you move slowly

This happened to me when I tried to capture a flag in a skirmish, the round ended nearly simultaneously with me finishing the capture. A workaround to the issue is just to rejoin the match.

I've also had it happen in all other game modes where there are items with a progress bar, if you get interrupted, e.g. by being attacked or kicked you'll become harmless.


This occurs quite often, and I'm surprised that I couldn't find any bug report on it, I'd almost think it is a known issue.

Quest suggestions, like ones that require bashes in combat, pure kills, aka improved to inclide more.

Simply put, I'm suggesting more quests with different objectives than what we currently have. Here, i'll list a few, feel free to list your ideas below.


Quest 1: Simple quest that requests you to kick and bash opponents a certain amount of times. Could be called "marshal arts".


Quest 2: A purely kill and assist related quest, vary stock but works. could be called "manslaughter".


Quest 3: Rounds/matches completed without team hits. Simple quest that would help practice the art of not playing target practice with there buddies, I'm sure there is only a mere handful of people that would like me to practice this quest.... for the rest if my existence... Name could be "Watch what your doing!" or something....


Quest 4: Simple thing really, not dying. But can be so hard to achieve. Really the goal is surviving matches, and to promote  self preservation. Maybe with this on peoples minds maybe they will think up clever ways to keep themselves, and perhaps others, from biting the dust. Name could be "not one of the body pile" or "No more biting the dust".


Quest 5: Militari related actions, from releasing attacks, using troops in rallies, simply viewing it and signing up for events (and coming), or putting gold in the treasury. Really the goal is to have this stimulate conflicts. Name could be "steppingstones to glory", "Lead, and others will follow", exa.


Quest 6: use emotion stances, say/shout something (vary easy quest, maybe best as tutorial quest), maybe through this new people will learn how to do these easy to do actions, at worst someone waved 10 times in a row and shouted hello at the opponent five times during a swordfight. Name could be "Performance" or something.

Npc Clone Battles Mode

in this mode you would join and then get 10 or so npc of a similar equipment to spawn in and follow you around.  They would engage the same groups that you engage and be your own little squad.   If you could give our commands to them that would be great.   If you were an archer then your npc squad would be archers too.  This would lead to large squad battles and advanced tactics.

Proper first person view

Right now it's basically impossible to see your hands when fighting in 1st person mode. I tried changing a few things but I find no viable way to use it for fighting when backed against the wall. I guess it has to do with combat animations being different to Warband...


The only idea I can think of to remedy that is to implement proper first person arm+weapon models with their respective animations.


I know it might be some work but I think it could be worth it.

Troop gain should be capped

It's noticeable how often certain big clans with lots of fiefs are able to attack new fiefs. Basically every evening, every half an hour they can just throw their troops in to try to capture a new fief as they seemingly gain an innumerable amount of them.


Newer or less successful clans can't possibly compete with that.


I think troop gain should be capped after a certain amount of captured fiefs so that it becomes more equal for all clans.

Put flags in Conquest closer to each other when with less players

On start there should be flags closer to each other 

When there will be more players two main flags (1-2) could change position to normal + 2 new flags (4-5) will appear (just like now)

Flags distance should be balanced imho. Usually one team is closer tha other.

But I'm sure you are already working on it.

Changing How Flags Work in Raids?

Essentially, the idea first came to me not only from the game RO2, but also the MMORTS Shattered Galaxy where people would fight over points on a map called POCs (the acronym for Point of Contention). For Shattered Galaxy's case, you needed to plant really beefy units on a small pad and capture it over a period of time. The following is mostly taken from the example of how Red Orchestra 2 worked.


Instead of having to rely on flag cappers in order to secure a point in a raid, the attacking team could capture a point by achieving its supremacy on a point by superior numbers. This system could work on behalf of the attackers even if the defenders vastly outnumber them if there's a respawn penalty that becomes harsher based on team balance - that penalty would encourage better usage of tickets in the battles and less waste by both sides depending on who's facing the respawn penalty.


How the point of contention would work is that once you enter a points "zone of influence" I guess, you can start to influence to which team that point will go; if you're on the defending team and you're sitting on A, nothing will happen if the point is fully secure. However, if there are 12 attackers on A but only 10 defenders, their influence will begin to slowly decrease - but only slowly, because they haven't fully asserted their supremacy against the defenders in that area. Back-capping also won't be as viable, since the more people you have on a point, the faster it takes to capture it.


With a system like this, it can do multiple things at once. It'll emphasize the objectives even more and slow down back-capping, which the community has taken an issue with. If people also play smarter with their tickets, this might open up room for more raids in the future if they have more leftovers to work with (like that one day we had nine on EU West, as exhausting as that was).

Battle servers that will start with 2 players but in Bloodbath mode before there will be 6 ppl

Sometimes we have trouble to start a battle server, even when there is some players in game (arena, HYG) who wants to play.


Before you will make official servers that will run all the time we need sth that will stop players from closing the game because there was no players to start a server.


If server will start even when only 2 ppl will sign up for it that 2 ppl can wait for more players while fighting in Bloodbath. After 6th (or 4th) player will join it can change to normal Skirmish or Conquest (bloodbath in this mode could spawn ppl in mid flag), like it was chosen.

Spawn Anchors/Leashes In the Arena

At the moment, when you spawn into the arena, you're limited to spawning only to only on in the castle within the center of the map on the center of the map, which is sort of limiting; if someone dies while exploring the wilderness, they always have to go back to castle.


To make the map more user friendly, I suggest setting spawn anchors or leashes in certain areas, so that if you die close to the area where that spawn anchor is set, you'll spawn in the vicinity of that area if they spacebar-spawn. They should always be able to go back to the castle with the left-alt option. Doing this would open up the arena even more in the meantime, and allow people to practice and fight in the different environments surrounding the castle instead of running around to explore it once and then just fighting for chests again like the previous incarnations for the arena were for.

Have an option to seperate attack from block

Some people prefer the old Mount&Blade combat option to have attack on left mouse button while blocking is on the right.


Now, I'm all for having different options for different preferences so why not have such an option in?

It wouldn't terribly alter the game experience for most people.


I guess you could even make it so, that holding down LMB would actually work the exact same way it does right now (plus blocking when in correct stance) and only have RMB for blocking without the possibility to attack.


Parry could be set to a third button, if needed. But most people don't use it anyway.

"The Barracks"

Instead of a point and click menu, maybe when a player presses play, they get put into a small room instead with some of their items that they own on display and little interactive assets like going into town i.e. lobby , changing equipment, stats, chest room, battle scheduler.

each function could be linked to an interactive asset that has a UI pop-up

for equipment have separate "display" assets for weapon types,armor types
